At Vega Productions, a leading video production company, we have embraced the integration of AI into our workflow, leading to exciting possibilities and increased efficiency. In this post, we will share our real-world experiences with AI in video production, covering advancements in text-to-speech, improvements in copywriting, ai generated images, videos and more.

The development of text-to-speech technology has truly revolutionized our initial edits. Today, AI voice allows us to create first drafts using human-like machine-generated voices. For example, by leveraging AI for early voiceovers, we've found that 75% of our clients were able to visualize the narrative and emotional tone of their projects more effectively. These AI-generated voices serve as valuable placeholders, reducing the need for revisions and speeding up our workflow significantly.

The rise of AI images and video creation is exciting but in real world use it takes twice the amount of time compared to simply choosing from the stock footage and images library. So far, we have used only 1 ai generated video in our final edits. In all our projects, we rely only on filming actual stuff than creating it in AI.




Nevertheless, AI illustrations do offer a cost-effective option for smaller businesses, allowing them to create visually appealing content without financial strain.


Copyright Concerns and Artist Rights


With the integration of AI tools, copyright and intellectual property issues have surfaced as important considerations. The simplicity with which AI generates content raises critical questions about ownership and the rights of original creators.


Navigating these challenges requires diligence and respect for ethical standards. Moving forward, we must ensure that AI serves as a supportive tool in our processes, rather than undermining the value of human artistry. At our studio, we have begun incorporating clear guidelines for AI use to safeguard creators’ rights while reaping the benefits of new technologies.

Focus on Solving Artists' Problems

In our opinion, developers should prioritize addressing the challenges faced by artists and enhancing their workflows, rather than attempting to dominate the entire video production process. No CEO or producer is likely to single-handedly create a complete video using AI.
